The day began slightly overcast, but not for long. The sun is shining brightly, but sadly I have too much work to be able to enjoy it. Last year there was no picture of the tree, but I did show you some flowers including a pink foxglove. No photographs of those this year, they have yet to flower.
A stunning blue sky, a gentle breeze and birdsong. What could be more perfect to start the day?

I’m hoping to post on most days during June, time has been short over the last few months, and there are some busy days coming….. However, I’d like to maintain the record. There are no photographs from last year as I was away from home.
A very cold day, with a heavy frost first thing, but no snow. It’s about 3 deg C. Last year?

A beautiful start to the day, and if you look closely – there is even the hint of blossom on the apple tree. Spring is springing!

We woke to a glorious blue sky. It may not last, but here’s the proof!
Today is Good Friday, and astoundingly the recycling bins were emptied this morning. Not ours, it isn’t yet full enough for emptying. Looking back at last year everything was much more advanced. No sign of blossom so far this year.
Yes, sunshine! However, cold doesn’t even touch the spot! It’s BITTERLY cold!
